Ohio’s Abundant Renewable Energy Supply is Right Under Our Feet

Abandoned Coal Mine Methane recovery will help meet Ohio’s renewable energy needs. Ohio has hundreds of miles of abandoned and working coal mines that are emitting methane gas, the major component of natural gas. CBM Ohio recovers the methane gas from our mines, processes it into natural gas in our new state of the art facility and then sells the natural gas to electricity producers and gas companies.

Ohio has an abundance of abandoned mines that can be used to meet the renewable energy needs of our State while reducing carbon from green house gases. A win- win for all.

CBM Ohio

is committed to meeting today’s energy demands without sacrificing the needs of future generations.
